Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their R&D team to contribute to the development of embedded systems for electronics, medical devices and simulations.

Job Details

Essential Job Duties:
  • Assist in the developing and manufacturing of medical device sensors, as well as tools, fixtures and

other products
  • Responsible for continuous improvement efforts
  • Implement LEAN principles to increase efficiencies
  • Contribute to design and concept development for electromechanical medical devices
  • Oversees manufacturing assembly and test documentation for New Product Introduction
  • Contribute to design for cost, design for manufacturability, and design for assembly
  • Own the development and maintenance of manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to the design transfer or new products to Manufacturing, including ownership of

assembly procedures and quality plans once released by Engineering.
  • Manages manufacturing/process, developing cost, resource, and lead-time estimates; create,

implement and track progress of approved efforts using project plans; and serves as prime technical

Job Requirements:
  • BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or a relevant field of study
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience with precision instruments or devices
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Experience in LEAN Manufacturing
  • Able to create moderately complex but robust surface, solid, and assembly models as well as detail

design drawings
  • Experience with electronic assemblies, harnesses, and prototype components
  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Preferred qualifications:
  • NPI experience
  • C/C++
  • Epicor ERP
  • Precision metal and plastic compeninet design
  • Experience with small magnetic sensors
  • ARM and PLM experience
